It felt written by committee, as is the case with all current "blockbusters" like Marvel and so on, and not to mention the pandering. Every scene was either a shallow reference to the older movies or a crappy one-liner. The visuals were admittedly nice, but everything else came across very sterile and boring. I'm also one of those people who doesn't really care for Star Wars to begin with, in all fairness. Still vastly less enjoyable then the movies made 20+years ago...
