Funny why did you choose your username?

Years ago when I was still in school, I would draw characters with my friends. One time we were reading jekyll and hyde, and being bored we made jokes about the character Utterson being derpy, and I drew a creepy little cartoon figure representing derpy Utterson which stuck with me and my friends for a while. After a while derpy Utterson became derpy Ben (name of one of my friends), and shortly after I started drawing him more small and squishy looking with just the base design which to me looked a bit like a tortoise. At the time I would watch a youtuber named Taurtis a lot, and thought the name was funny, so I named the character similarly as Tortis. Tortis then over the years became my "mascot" and my friends also got their own "mascots". So basically the name I use is my mascot and it started as a joke about a character in jekyll and hyde.
