Best way to find diamonds?

You just gotta dig deep in a mine. Diamonds typically appear near lava, and your vertical position must be at 16 or bellow. They appear more often from 5-12. You can occasionally find them in chests as well. I found a few in a Jungle Temple in a chest behind some levers.
