[b]CC-1138[/b], nicknamed "[b]Bacara[/b]," was aclone trooper officerwho held themilitary rankofMarshal Commanderin theGrand Army of the Republicduring theClone Wars. Known forhisaggressive tactics, Bacara served as theClone Commanderof the21st Nova Corps, an elitedivisionofclone troopersrenowned for theirdistinctive armorand relentlessness in combat.
As with all clonetroopersfrom theextragalactic planet Kamino, Bacara wasclonedfrom thegenetic templateof thehuman bounty hunter Jango Fettand trained as asoldierin anarmyfor theGalactic Republic. During the finalmonthsof the Clone Wars, Bacara'sGalacticMarines served under the command ofJedi General Ki-Adi-Mundi, while Republic forces laidsiegeto theSeparatiststrongholds in theOuter Rim Territoriesofthe galaxy.
Bacara and histroopswere in the midst ofbattleonMygeetowhen they received word fromSupreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatineinforming them thatOrder 66was in effect. As clones, they were bound by theirprogrammingto follow the protocol without question and, therefore,executed GeneralMundi as anenemy of the state. By the war's end, the Republic that Bacara served had beensupplantedby anew regimetheGalactic Empire, ruled by the self-anointedEmperorPalpatine.
