Tyler McVicker from Valve News Network has basically confirmed that CS source will be released in the next 2 months. So why should you trust him, well for starters, he was the one to leak Half Life: Alyx 3 years before it was announced. He also has many internal connections at Valve, that he has been able to prove. Most recently, he showed that he had a beta build of Half Life: Alyx that he received a month before the game came out. He gets so much inside information at Valve, that he can't reveal most of the information to the public, and whenever he does release information he shouldn't reveal, he's always very vague, and he has been vague about Source 2.
