VAC respects your privacy more than most anti-cheats but at the expense that some cheats will bypass the anti-cheat for longer than others. if its custom made its gonna take forever for it to be banned and usually it happens when another cheat is added that is similar. Paid cheats take a while but do get added eventually. Free cheats don't take too long to be added but do take longer than invasive anti-cheats. You have more privacy but more cheaters as a result.
