Best Tips for a New CS Player

Hey guys,

I just picked up CS:GO about a week ago, I am pretty late to the party.

I am a decent shot and have played shooters for a couple years, my main game was Apex Legends, I have over 15,000 Kills 4.8 avg KD and 920'ish average damage, not amazing but above average. Being decent at most other shooters I thought I'd fit in and get the hang of CS easily, but my god I have never been so wrong.

I know there millions of videos and and write ups on CS tips and tricks but was wondering if you guys wanted to share the best things that helped you?

Something that is kind of helping me pick up a few more frags is holding head high crosshair placement at all times.
