According to a recent study conducted by Brian Dean published yesterday on his blog, page loading speed didnt show any strong correlation with top-ranking websites/keywords.

Obviously, this doesnt mean youre going to build a business on a site that takes 10+ seconds to load.

I can sum it up everything for you...

Important SEO factors in 2020 -

Authoritative Domains Tend to Rank Higher
Pages With More Backlinks Tend to Rank Higher
Pages with Comprehensive Content rank higher
Pages with more Referring Domains rank higher
Pages using exact or partial match in Title tag rank higher
Pages with higher Webpage Authority rank (slightly) higher
Pages with content length around 1500 words (or more) rank higher
Pages with shorter URLs rank higher
Pages with lower bounce rate rank higher

Things that don't appear to matter (as much) for SEO in 2020 -

Page load speed (Within reason, I would imagine)
Exact or partial match in H1 tag
Schema markup
