About some HYIP scams and whales

I've seen some guy scamming like 0.3BTC in feb, and that guyappeared to be ina some big bitcoin trader / group (which had like 3kBTC). Do you guysthink that whales are involved on bitcoin HYIP scams and fake mining sites, or have some evidences that they're doing it? if so, post on it please.
