Hmmmm while your system is indeed old,it doesn't mean it's obsolete.I run on i7 7700 and it's still as fast as i remember(most cases).
Ram is mostly a matter of capacity and lemme tell ya,you have plenty.GPU is NVidia and in my opinion,a good, old Nvidia graphic is still able to be compared to brand new ones.
My recommendation is to keep at it,till there are noticable lags and delays (with low graphic settings in games).
When there is such need to replace some specs after....let's say 5-6 years(ok yeah that's a good period approximately),I would recommend completely gutting the PC and replacing most stuff.( Definately consider HSSD when remaking a PC)
Alright, i'll keep your recommendation in mind. I just feel that it is getting slower with the new games coming out. I have no clue any longer on what's good or not.

I'd say your GFX card needs a update and if you can afford it a processor but the main thing would be the GFX card.. you have plenty of ram.
It will do pretty much anything you need it to do.
I guess if you got some spare cash to go upgrade than do it. If not maybe start with the GFX card but I'd say your still good for a bit.
So the socket and ddr3 ram is not a problem?
What graphics card and CPU is good to go for?

It is still a very good GPU, but it would do you well to upgrade so you can play the newest AAA games because they are optimized for newer architectures usually. And your ram you should upgrade from DDR3 to DDR4 for faster timings. It would help with stutters if you experience those. And it would also help a lot with newer AAA games with loading things.
I'm not experiencing any stutters. So i should go for DDR4 then? What Motherboards, GPU's and CPU's are good?
