Denied Secondary Download links

After having an issue with a download I unlocked only to find the link had become dead I was thinking why dont you guys have secondary links for this situation. or even keep an archive of all files somewhere so If somebody does come across a dead link after using credits to open it, they can be given the file(s) they were looking for. Its not like a lot of the downloads are huge in size so wouldn't take up massive amounts of space. Its just a lot of these file share places kill links or drop them if they think it violates some kind or rule/law etc.

Not exactly the biggest issue, however it can be annoying as a member to use credits to only find was a waste of credits & time. I understand completely this was not the fault of staff or this site. The link was for an external source, in there lies the problem. You guys dont have any kind of control over that.

Also if something becomes unavailable do you guys move it to an archive area or even delete it, so people dont stumble upon the same problem?

p.s. I did post a question in ask the staff section about what happens about credits used, but this is an actual suggestion now. before somebody thinks double posting.
