why do people hack?

Some just want to be cool some one cant play because they are noobs but i hack too in minecraft i just wanted to play on 2b2t with my friends and it was pretty fun. And if you dont know what is 2b2t on this server is everyone hacking and i didnt even kill someone to be cool and so.
