Sorry for being a n00b. But what is this mapping you speak of?

The car has an ECU.. AKA a Brain/Computer.

When you change something in the car or add a new turbo etc, you need to "map"/flash the ECU so it knows that something new has been added.

In all, you can add bigger/faster parts and when you flash the ECU, make the car faster!
