Thank you for mentioning that, otherwise I would have done it. Yeah, it really is a thing what the person likes. And asking for what for genres the person would prefer is not a bad idea.

Personally recommend you using AniList and MyAnimeList to search up the genre and the description.

E: Elfen Lied (classic)
G: Golden Time, Girls & Panzer
H: Highschool of the Dead (classic), High School DxD (classic)
(nothing between I and J)
K: K-On! (classic), KissxSis (Warning, Erog!), Kill la Kill (classic)
L: Love Live! (classic)
M: Mekakucity Actors, Mirai Nikki (classic)

Classic means a lot anime fans did watch that anime. Some of them are mainstream, but that hasn't to be bad.
