Im new to playing the guitar and im wondering if anybody has any tips for beginners

Learn the penatonic scale, its a very good scale and when you learn it and start playing songs you'll notice a pattern and it will make it very easy for you to create your own riffs. Also once you think you get good enough start learning by ear. Makes life so easier and expands you knowledge faster.
