I think this fall and winter can be brutal if we're not careful, and it's not only COVID that we need to be paying attention to.

There are a lot of things going on right now (especially in the United States) that are incredibly concerning. To name a few:

- Earliest M-named storm made landfall this week after we already set records for L, K, J, I, H, G, F, E, and C. An extremely active hurricane season was predicted for this year, and we're just now entering the more intense/active part of hurricane season which has been quite hectic already.
- Enormous wildfires in Northern California
- Widespread social/political unrest.

This is all on top of a pretty shitty COVID response. Once it starts to get cooler outside and people move back indoors it could get pretty crazy. I do think that there is a chance it won't get too crazy with the increased decontamination measures that have been put into place practically everywhere.
