Why do so many people hate boruto?

Naruto is the first anime.
I have watched all episodes without some fillers from naruto to naruto shippuden.
Now in time while i wanted to start the sequal with boruto, everyone told that it is horrible
So i decided to go with manga. Boruto manga is great. But why is the anime trash?
Should I watch it?
