Why do so many people hate boruto?

People introduced Boruto like it was a great thing and then some months later I saw all the hate going towards it.

I was told that there is a lot of filler going on in the show, but since I read the manga I don't see any of that.

The manga is on about 50 plus chapters but the anime is at about over 100 if I'm not mistaken?
