I can't remember which site it is, but rather than giving you a preview of a 3D model, they just give you a walkaround composed of a series of images of the original 3D model, "for compatibility reasons".
I suppose that's one way of protecting the model rather than sending the client a file that contains all the instructions to build the 3D model in webgl.
