I'm wondering if anyone has ever listened to a band called The Books and what yourother favorite artistsare if you like them. All of their albums are so unique and interesting, really hard to lump into a genre. It's just two guys that I think are classically trained musicians, so there are a lot of stringed instruments like the cello and acoustic guitar and then they put samples that they pull from obscure places over it, along with their own vocals. They broke up a few years ago, unfortunately. I don't think there is anyone else like them but would be interested to know if anyone has found anything remotely similar. Thanks!!
