If you could time travel?

Sometime before WW1 with a sack full (Blueprints of the STEN Gun fore example like the protagonist of "rebel in time") of "spoilers" which, I hope, would alter the World.....If I thought that would be a good thing, but I don't.
Selfishly, like the original poster, I'd go back to about 1992 so I could tell the girl I know I love what I should have told her then and, just maybe, I wouldn't fuck it up.
