#145 There are probably plenty here but Ill add mine:
Doctor Who: About an alien who travels in time and space in a blue police box - the greatest show in the galaxy :D
Only Fools and Horses: two wheeler-dealer brothers, set in Peckham, London. The finest comedy ever created.
Dexter: A serial killer in hiding, who works for the Miami Police. And hunts down other serial killers.
The Thick of It: A political satire set in a lowly government department. Malcolm Tucker alone is worth watching this series for.
Rome: Set between Julius Caesar becoming a tyrant and Augustus taking over and becoming the first emperor or Rome.
Fargo: Based off the film. A kind of dark comedy set in the snow.
Peaky Blinders: A dramatisation of the real Peaky Blinders, a gang from Birmingham, UK, who were around in the early 20th century.
Impractical Jokers: A group of friends make each other carry out embarrassing tasks with members of the public. Ive nearly split a gut laughing at some scenes in this show!
Suits: A legal drama based in New York City. I enjoyed the first four / five series, but its tailed off a bit lately.
Silk: Another legal drama set in London.
Wentworth Prison: Set in a womens prison in Australia.
Any David Attenborough series: One the greatest naturalists alive.
Person of Interest: Set in New York City mainly. There is an AI that can predict when people are in danger. A group get together to try and stop those people from dying / being killed.
Fawlty Towers: A classic British comedy. Its set round a hotel in Torquay and is mainly about Basil Fawlty being a tit.
Some Mothers do ave em: Another classic British comedy. All about the main character Frank Spencer. Well worth a watch!
The IT Crowd: A comedy set in and around an IT office.
The Inbetweeners: Sometimes can be pretty funny, but generally just a gross out comedy about a group of school friends.
