I have a respiratory disease so if I catch it I have no choice but to immediately go to the hospital and get checked in. I stay home a lot but when I go out, I wear my mask and social distance. I avoid walking past someone, instead, I'll go another direction or give them a lot of room. This virus is real and the US government just snuffed at it thinking it wouldn't affect us or it wouldn't be as bad as it has become. Many conspiracy theorists around the net believe China released it on purpose targeting Trump due to his sanctions on them and demands he put on them.
