I don't know what people mean when they say "pedophile movie", Do they mean that a pedo could watch it and get his rocks off?? Well if that's the case basically any of the 90s early 2000's disney/nick sitcoms were ALSO bait. Zoey 101/Victorious/etc. I thought the movie was really hard to watch... but I think that was the point of it. To challenge the parents who don't pay attention to what their kid specifically needs. They either dismiss what their kid is going through and double down on some religious horseshit, or they just 100% neglect them and let them figure it out for themselves... or even worse... get their cues from their dipshit friends who ALSO have no clue what they're doing. I think the movie was good for what it was, I understand the shock, but I feel like the people who are reeling from it are the main ones who needed to see it. A better question Is "Was Cuties effective at achieving it's goal/was it's messaging effective."
