But if you're looking for something more modern you can't go wrong with Fate/Zero as a general starting spot. If you don't care for the fighting I really like Kaiji or Dr. Stone, if you want the fighting then Hajime no Ippo, and if you haven't seen Naruto you might as well... it's kinda a cringe suggestion, but it was big 3 for a while for a reason.
