the other day i decided to try nintendo's try in cloud gaming with Control (Cloud Edition) and honestly, it sucked. i have fairly good wifi but a low connection warning kept showing up and wouldnt let me see what was happening.
thank god it was a free trial, but it got me wondering. google stadia doesn't offer a free trial, plus you have to pay for each game. imagine if you bought $60 stadia cyberpunk only to find out your wifi couldnt handle it.
also, the whole idea of cloud gaming is to not have a box to play games on,but the consoles dont take up that much space.
so the question is, is cloud gaming really the future? is it necessary?
