How can i mining Ethereum or ETC mining with 4gb GPU card?

As you know, ETH and ETC mining cannot be done because the size of the DAG file exceeds 4gb. Is there any other method for this? Can you combine two 4gb graphics cards and display as 8gb or how can VRAM be virtually upgraded? What are your suggestions? It doesn't matter if it makes sense. Let's brainstorm
