how to up rank

I used to be gold nova 2 now I'm MG1 I've been playing with friends and honestly thats what has helped my friend is a bit better than me 2-3 ranks above me but we play a couple of games together each day and I've been ranking up a lot when I play alone I get mad a frustrated but with him we are having fun top fragging together (I dont know smokes or recoil control just pull down and I've made it to MG1 you can too!)
