I despise it with a vengeance. Zuck is most certainly not of this species and his corporation was funded with CIA money. Call it a conspiracy, that's a CIA made word too (Don't 'Google' it; DuckDuckGo it)

Why would anyone trust a corporation with their entire life history? Their content review system is a disgrace to Free Speech and the longer Social Media goes on the way it does; the more we won't even be able to realise the things/rights we had, once. Maybe. No one remembers.

Can anyone even find what they're looking for online anymore? It's nothing but corpo's flexing their ad revenue and PPC budgets to awash search engines (et al) with dogma; rung out through echo chamber after echo chamber.

There's a reason Jeff Bezos, for instance, owns Amazon (Obviously),
Washington Post (Why does he need a newspaper? Ah; positive spin-doctoring ad-hoc at the press of a dial),
IMDB? Wait; Why? Well, so he can pingback media releases and upcomers into his powerhouse platform for a much higher chance of purchasing from Amazon and not, say, buying it from your local supplier.
WholeFoods? That ones' obvious. And it ain't about food.
Nevermind the always-listening assistant of your secrets called Alexa.

Does anyone remember the days of SOPA and PIPA? When Silicon Valley made us feel they were our friend, by joining in against the privacy acts... Heh, just see what's about to pass in the US Senate to really crap your pants.

Hope this site has an Onion backup. I'm new; but here to stay.

Edit: My rant is RE: Privacy and ownership and retention of YOU and your data. Something often phrased in enigmatic ways but always nefarious when it comes to what these companies do with our data.
