ETH was invented by a pedophile, it does nothing that BTC doesn't do better, has been hacked numerous times. People only like ETH for 2 reasons, and they're both bad reasons. First is "smart contracts", which could be built into BTC if wanted (no one wants it because it's a dumb idea, we have contracts already, no need for decentralization). ETH built smart contracts into the base protocol making it massively vulnerable, DOH! The second is that people buy ETH strictly because they see it as a way to make money. This doesn't mean that ETH is SOUND MONEY like BTC though. Do your research before investing in either though. ETH is a shitcoin and I'd stay away unless you really know what you're doing and are looking to make short term gains through trading.
