Survival, Creative or Hardcore ?

Same fo me, I never was interested in hardcore. For me minecraft was mainly about building a nice world. And why should you lose all of this, in case you die.
I only used creative for building adventure maps, when they were actually a thing. Btw, does the adventure mode still exist?
