Unfortunately, that's part of playing gacha games. A main game mechanic of gachas is that you keep pulling until you get a character that you really want/with a good skill/good stats. And since you can only go so far with free-to-play...
I'll be honest, I've spent maybe $80? or so on a gacha game, but it's not worth it at all. If anything, it's nothing more than a digital piece of paper.
Of course, if you're a whale, or you have something extremely valuable, you could always sell your account... but I don't think there's much of a market for that sort of thing
