i started listening to vaporwave and got into sampling a few years ago, then since quarantine started i got into the "samples" i mean the original songs they usually use in that genre, which is a lot of japanese funk and synth pop. Really interesting

recently i'm digging a lot into library music, labels like KPM, Bruton Music, Tele Music. Theres a lot of virtually unknown old musicians like Alan Hawkshaw or Paul Williams who produce jazz, funk songs and even abstract synth landscapes from the 80s, really amazing world to get into imo
