Preferred code editor for web development

I use Atom but it sucks at supporting large files. Anything over like 1MB the editor freezes just from pasting into it, where as Sublime text does not. Simple because Atom is actually using Electron under the hood lol.

I see a lot of students out of school using Visual Code.
