Is ethereum safe?

A lot of "Ethereum Killers" will claim to have faster transaction speeds, or cheaper transaction fees, but no other blockchain has achieved more while not sacrificing security (in the form of) decentralization than Ethereum has. Their work on Proof of Stake is cutting edge for the level of decentralization they are working at. Other chains have staking, but they have like 10 validators nodes. Hardly decentralized at all, completely pointless as far as blockchain tech goes.
