A single 1Gbps server (on an unshared, unmetered line) could achieve 30-40Gbps with a very good amp list. Of course, that would cost your kidney.

1Tbps is possible, but it is unlikely to ever happen. It is enough bandwidth to reach the capability of certain single mode fiber lines. I will glady apologize and accept i am wrong if evidence would set 1-2Tbps to be likely and standard.
