What operating system are you using (Windows, mac, linux)?

Windows, also 10. I've been Windows my whole life, except for a single Macbook that I bought in 2006. Used that thing to write a book, then the hard drive melted on me. Fortunately had everything backed up, but man... After everyone kept telling me how great and reliable Macbooks were. I think that damn thing burned up 3 hard drives in 3/4 years before I went back to Windows.

Interestingly enough, about 6 years after the final hard drive crash, on a whim I tried turning the Macbook back on...and it worked. I mean, I had to reinstall the OS, but the stupid thing worked. So I kept the Zombiebook as a backup until it burned up with everything else in a wildfire last summer.
