Preferred code editor for web development

VS Code is incredible. Microsoft is really throwing a lot of dev weight behind it, and the attention to detail is phenomenal. Also, and editor changes or updates are usually applied either without a restart, or within seconds. It's really the best option out there for cross-platform development. There is even work on making it functional in a browser so that you don't have to actually run it directly from your computer - you could program from your phone or tablet as well. Pretty great platform.
