The 3 most notable in my opinion are Unreal, Unity and Cry Engine.
I'd recommend Unity and Unreal, despite having experience in cry aswell. They're both great, but Unreal will offer you more options for PC games at the cost of being more difficult to use.
Unity is not a bad engine despite what many seem to think. There's a lot of shitty asset flips made with it because it's free and easy to use. That doesn't mean it's a bad engine, and historically it has been capable of incredible things.
