Serious The Fine Bros?

Not only are they trying totrademark the word "react" but have also haveelders react,kids react, as well as try watching this without laughing,etc. trademarked/applied for trademark.

They basically just want to monetize other peoples' contents that will be under their "React World" umbrella, otherwise, people could be penalized or their videos could be taken down if they make reaction videos that are "similar" to the Fine Bros. videos on their own. It's simply corporate greed.

Thing is, the Fine Bros made a stupid mistake of making theannouncement before their trademark application gets approved. This means that people can still contest their claim on this trademark. Also, the word "React" is so broad that it poses a danger to a wide variety of existingcontents as well as their creators that may be related to "react". This is what caused this whole drama to Youtubers.

Upset youtubers = upset subscribers...
and the domino effect goes on.

And obviously the whole trademark thing makes the fine bros look so selfish and hypocritical because they did not start the whole "react" concept.However, the Fine Bros scrambled to fix the shitstorm they started afterlosing so many subscribers and decided to cancel their trademark applications. Announcement here. The whole thing was just stupid and funny.
