Do you think there will be a third world war?

Tensions between Ukraine and Russia have been flaring up again and as such Ukraines allies (mainly the US) have been coming to their defense militarily which is sure to increase tensions.

China has once again been flexing its thirst for Taiwan and has been causing serious problems with their fishing fleets in the Pacific. This has led to US defense for Taiwan among other countries supporting action against their fishing fleets.

Without sounding too alarmist, I have begun to think that we may be the closest to World War 3 we have ever been. I don't necessarily think its guaranteed, it really depends on how things play out with Ukraine and Russia, as well as China and Taiwan. The world will probably get distracted by something else though.
