Should I get back into Overwatch?

I loved this game when it came out, played it religiously on PS4 and then on PC once I built a good gaming rig, but I left when it toxic as. Should I get back into it now or wait and see how Overwatch 2 develops? Losing Jeff from the Overwatch Team is a bit of a bummer and on its own makes me not want to support the game anymore. Thoughts?
