Is Minecraft only for kids?

I think many people above 18 play minecraft just to escape from reality, and in reality most of them are developer of servers / plugins, I play minecraft just to calm myself from every day routine. I really do not care if people poke fun at me for playing minecraft because me and my friends still enjoy modded minecraft.
