Music Recommendation!

So what kind of music are you into? Vaporware, synthwave, outrun, and retrowave are all great if you're into retro stylized electronic music. I do really like those genres, but my wheel house is classic rock, hard rock, and 80s music.

If you like lead guitar and electronic music, check out an album called Lair of the Dragon by Wolf and Raven. The first three songs on there are so great. The rest of the album is good, but I think those are my favorite tracks on the album. Likewise, Meteor has an album called Defender of the Fleet. Some of those songs sound like they were heavily inspired by the Top Gun soundtrack.

If you like classic rock and you're looking for something a little deeper than what classic rock radio plays, check out the song Dirty Love by Thunder, such a great early 90s rock song that's underrated. At least Thunder's first album is somewhat similar to Bad Company's later stuff from the late 80s and early 90s (the stuff without Paul Rodgers).

I don't really listen to today's pop so I can't give you any recommendations there, but if you're interested in the pop/rock from the 80s, then I can definitely give you plenty of suggestions.

If you like old school rap/hip-hop than Tone Loc and Run D.M.C. are great. Being California born and raised, California Love by 2pac and Dr. Dre is amazing.
