your music style

I like a lot of stuff (mostly older stuff from the 70s and 80s), but my favorite style of music is 80s rock. Pretty much anything with a good singer and great lead guitar licks. I suppose that AOR is a pretty good central genre for me, so bands like Foreigner, Boston, Journey, and later Bad Company. But as far as bands go, hands down my favorite band is Van Halen, but early Van Halen, the Van Halen with David Lee Roth. Van Halen, Joe Satriani, and The Jeff Healey Band all inspired me to play guitar.
