If you're considering non giant-brand Android phones, you might also want to consider if the apps / games you use are certified as "compatible" with them. For example, a Xiaomi (though doubtful as they're big now, but hear me out) may result in a game or app you like being resulted as "incompatible" despite the fact that it isn't, because it hasn't been submitted for certification or that certification is taking longer than a mega-giant like Samsung.
