steam or epic games

They're both fine for what they do.

Honestly the free game every Thursday from Epic is pretty fucking cool. And in December they gave away a free game every day. Sometimes they're cheap little 10 and 20 dollar indie games, but you also get some top tier games from them. The last day of December they gave away all 3 of the new Tomb Raider games, and I got the first HITMAN game from the newer series for free. These are 40-60 dollar games still.

Steam is super convenient and has a ton of features also.
