WAR BETWEEN UKRAINE AND RUSSIA

I don't mean to sound hyperbolic but, this could be a glimpse of a new world war. Russia has continued to push boundaries. Does anyone remember Crimea, and is very clear on its intent to amass land and power by forcibly assimilating other Eastern-European countries, so it is back to pre-cold war power. The US won't do anything to help the Ukrainian people from the slaughter because it would give a jumping-off point as a reason to start a campaign against the US and would most likely ask for aid from their allies in China and North Korea. I am afraid to say we might see the loss of Ukraine as a country within my lifetime.
