I've had family members pass away due to smoking related illnesses. And while smoking is oftentimes framed as simply a personal choice, it isn't. Tobacco products are a huge business, and they spend millions of dollars in PR and lobbying to try to deny links between tobacco and certain diseases, and in defeating public health based legislation.
