Why did overwatch die !?

GOATS Meta (3 Tanks + 3 Supports) was really hated among most players, and yeah, many claim that the downfall of Overwatch began when Brigitte was added to the game, since she was introduced to counter Dive Meta, but it still is to this moment one of the strongest and most unfun characters to play against.
